Tips on Showing CUTCO Owners

Still do the FULL presentation. It’s great practice for you and many customers forget the important details!

  • EX: “As a reminder, we’ve been around since 1949, we’re dishwasher safe, and we have a Forever Guarantee..."

Cutco owners love upgrading to sets, adding accessories, and buying gifts!

Showing Cutco Owners

Step 1: Build Rapport - more is better, don’t talk about Cutco, ask lots of questions

Step 2: SLIDES 1-3 (like normal)

Step 3: Review Forever Guarantee

  • I wanted to also remind you of the Cutco Forever Guarantee which is what makes Cutco a top-selling brand in North America. Essentially, if anything ever happens to your Cutco, you can send it back to the factory and they’ll sharpen, replace, or fix it for free!

Step 4: Lead-in

  • Mrs. ________, since you already own Cutco it doesn’t make sense to buy a full set. Most Cutco owners either upgrade to their favorite set or pick out a few pieces to supplement what they already own. Either way, if you decide to add more Cutco to your collection, I’ll be able to give you the best deal possible...”

  • We are going to act as if Cutco is falling from the sky and we are going to make you a list of all of your favorite pieces. This is a list of everything you don’t own that you wish you did. Basically, if Cutco were FREE, what would you add to your collection?

Step 5: Make Mrs. _________’s Wish List (add all wish list items to app cart)

  • SLIDE 31 - go over every knife they don’t own yet

    • (1) Explain uses - bitly.com/cutcopieces

    • (2) “If you had it, would you use it”

    • If they say yes = (3) add piece to the cart

  • Explain upgrading by including the woodblock to fit all current and new knives

  • Go over all Gifts & Accessories - SLIDES 32 - 47

  • Explain uses of each G&A and ask “if you had it, would you use it” (add to cart)

  • Don’t forget about giving the gift of Cutco: weddings, birthdays, holidays...

Step 6: Present Offer

  • Mrs. ________, do you remember the first time you bought Cutco? Do you remember how much you paid for it? As you know, Cutco isn’t cheap but it’s totally worth the investment. Sometimes it’s tough to say yes but once you do, you’ll thank yourself for years to come. I’m going to make you the best deal possible.

  • Use app cart to make deal (use the thumb icon to make a good deal)

AFTER YOU CALCULATE PRICE: Mrs. _________, for your (review names of pieces on list) the retail price would normally be (value), but today I am able to save you money and get that down to (customer pays) in full or only (payment) per month. How does that sound?

  • If no to first deal... drop down - “which few pieces aren’t as necessary?”

Customer Testimonial

Mrs. ______, would you be willing to write me a customer testimonial?

Great!

It's really simple, 3 things:

  1. How long you've owned your Cutco

  2. What you think about the product / your experience

  3. Your name / signature

Would you be willing to send that to me in an email? [Give customer your email address]
